Erin & Billy Engagement – Stone Arch Bridge Area (Minneapolis, MN)

After a very rainy few days, the skies opened and gave us the most beautiful evening for Erin & Billy’s engagement session! We took advantage of the perfect weather to start taking photographs at Father Hennepin Bluff Park – a beautiful hidden gem in Minneapolis. Looking at the photos you would have no idea you are nearly right downtown (aside from the ones with the bridge in the background 😉 ) due to all the luscious trees and greenery! Erin & Billy assured me they do not have photos taken of them often, but to be honest I’m not certain I believe them. They were absolutely wonderful to work with and honestly, when people are as in love as they are – it’s so easy to see that in the images! After we finished in the forest we trekked back up the stairs and across the Stone Arch Bridge and captured images with the sunset and city behind them. We finished up at Mill Ruins Park to grab some blue hour images and finish out the evening in a lovely calm spot – there was no one around!

After spending the evening with this lovely couple I cannot wait to photograph their wedding this coming September – it’s going to be a fantastic day!
