This was a really fun and special engagement session because it happened in a city that isn’t near either of us! Ashley and I both went to college at Wartburg College so she decided that it would be awesome to meet up during homecoming weekend to do their engagement session. We were both familiar with the area and knew a lovely park we could go to that has a bridge right nearby for some great photos there. The day prior was very drizzly and gross but we got really lucky with the day of their session and the rain all held off! It was so fun working with Ashley and Austin, they were super willing to do any silly thing I asked and we had a great time. I loved the cool ideas Ashley had come up with including using a photo of them holding three fabric leaves to put the date on for their Save the Dates – genius! I cannot wait to capture their special day on a very special date – 10/10/2020!
